Thanks Natarajan Sir. It is indeed a flasback to our boyhood memories. I haven’t come across a single old student that does not recall his/her days at the school with lot of love and affection. We were lucky to have such dedicated teachers. May or teachers be blessed with good health and happiness.

I should have said “standing between teachers” in my last post 🙂
Dear Natarajan Sir,
I have distinct memories of you teaching me English in DTEA Lodiestate and I thoroughly enjoyed the class.
I have been reading your posts and showing it to my children as well.
Thanks for the wonderful work you are doing.
Warm regards,
Parvathi (1982 batch)
Namaskaram Sir:
Some of my best times were spent in MEA / DTEA RK Puram from 1963(?) to 1974, when I passed out. I remember you as a disciplinarian who meant well.
Remember many teachers. Especially our pranks & then being admonished by Ramachandran Sir, Rangarajan Sir etc. But, times were great.
Never a class topper [especially in a class filled with N Krishnamachari (who was Commerce State 2nd in 1974), TA Subramanian, NV Diwakar, KS Sitaraman etc], but, a decent student & more of a sportsman.
Trying to upload a photo, which I believe, was taken in 1965-66 (Standard IV?), You & Jayammal teacher are also there. I am sitting in the ground, 3rd from left. Have downloaded all your RK Puram photographs & thanks a lot for that.
Best Regards,
Ajay
Sir
Namaskaram.
I stumbled upon your site and informed my brother N.K.Chari who met you yesterday and conveyed me that you remembered my Dad also.It is nice to know about MEA’s history and that too when you are away from India. As Ajay has stated,I was also not very bright but still I fondly remember your advice to our father to admit us in the same class we had passed out in Mumbai and that advice has helped me a lot.
Hope to see you in Delhi during my next visit
With Best regards
Chari
Sir
Sorry for not reviewing (for corrections) my post prior to uploading.Forgot that this is a different site.

dear sir,
i suddenly chanced upon your blog which brought so many delectable memories of my school days in janakpuri brnach.i specifically remmeber the “this is my school…” pledge that we would recite each day at the end of the prayer assembly. i passed out in 1984 and i remember that soon after you had taken over we had shifted to the pucca building in the year 1981.i could of curse continue upto 1984,that is,till the time i finished my 10th board.i must be the only one, i am sure, to have been under the tutelage of you and your duagther-you were my principal at dtea ,janakpuri, while ms meena natarajan taught me chemistry at svc briefly in the year 1986.
Dear Sir,
What a Wonderful site, I was able to connect with some of my classmates after 37 years.

Respected Natarajan sir,
Fantastic pictures!I was a studenr of R.K.Puram MEA from 1966–1968;you were the Principal; you were a strict disciplinarian and did not hesitate to admonish when we faltered. N.Jayalakshmi was my science teacher, Santosh taught us English, Rangarajan sir Sanskrit. The little bit sanskrit we learnt from the school is useful now when I read Adi Sankara’s Bhajagovindam. We did not realise the importance of subjects like History and Sanskrit language as I was carried away by the ‘Science wave”
Heartening to see you receiving several awards which you richly deserve.

dear sir ,
the photos were very nice.and we are expecting more recent photos also.
Respected sir, Although a dedicated team of teachers like u fed us with whatever we posesses in terms of knowledge, values and vocubulary, getting transported back in memories left me at loss of words. Thanks for rekindling our memories. You will always be held in highest of our esteem sir. Thanks
Dear Natarajan Sir,
You indeed were the best, a great leader. We appreciate your thoughts and your vision. I still remember the words ” One day when you grow up, and you come back here – DTEA Janakpuri would have grown to a full fledged college”. Well it never happened – but words have always always been a source of inspiration to all of us.
Your slogan ” This is my school, I am proud of it ..” still echoes in our hearts. Thank you SIR and to ALL THE GREAT TEACHERS.
